Both Adfly and LinkShrink are old networks but when its come on comparing these networks then Adfly wins the race by huge margin. Adfly was started in 2009 and it is one of oldest URL shorteners after Linkbucks. I don't remember any URL shortener which is older than Adfly except Linkbucks.In comparison to Adfly, LinkShrink is pretty new. It was started in 2014 almost 6 years after the Adfly so it has less experience as compared to Adfly. Though, it is not as old as Adfly but it is still a good URL shortener network. Any network cannot survive for 5 years if it is not good. But, whenever i see LinkShrink in comparison to Adfly it seems like a young kid to me.
Adfly has seen many changes in past 10 years and if it is still standing tall then this means it has quality. Another thing that i liked about Adfly is, it is more innovative as compared to LinkShrink. It has tried multiple things during these 10 years to generate more profit for its clients. It launched some website like CashPiggy and Adultxyz. Also, it tried various ad formats along with interstitial ads like pop ads and push ads.
In addition to that its ads are more customizable as compared to LinkShrink. This shows this network has a great experience and it can handle various market conditions easily. So, far i have never seen Adfly in trouble.
Though, LinkShrink is new but it has also faced the toughest time of the market when Google changed various things and made the life difficult for URL shortener networks. But, LinkShrink kept growing and changing strategies to provide continuous profit to its clients. So, overall LinkShrink also has a great experience and you can join it confidently. It can provide you decent rates and services even in the days when market remains down.
If i have to give marks to Adfly And LinkShrink in terms of network age then Adfly clearly wins here and get all 5 out 5 marks whereas LinkShrink gets 4 out of 5 marks.
Popularity:
If we compare these networks on the basis of popularity then you find a very tough competition between them. You can visit various website and see their reviews, at some places you will find people saying Adfly better where at some places you will find people saying LinkShrink a better network. So, overall they have a very tough competition in terms of popularity.Both of these networks are very popular and lots of my publisher friends are working with these networks. They usually select these two networks on the basis of their requirements. If you see both URL shorteners then you will find more options in Adfly as compared to LinkShrink. Reliability:
If you are a person who doesn't like taking risk and want to join reliable networks only then both Adfly and LinkShrink can do the job for you. I have been using Adfly from 2013 and LinkShrink from its start and so far i have not missed any payments. I have already received various payments from these two networks and they both are one of my monthly sources of income.So, looking at their records i can say that both networks are equally reliable. Payout Rates:
As both Adfly and LinkShrink are premium URL shorteners so they offer high payout rates as compared to other URL shortener networks. The only thing that you need to worry about is the type of ads that work out for you.
Some of my friends like LinkShrink as it performs better for them whereas some like Adfly as it works better for them. So, its all about your requirements. I personally prefer Adfly over LinkShrink. However, i have seen many publishers who are making a handsome income from LinkShrink too. So, test both the networks for few days and decide by yourself which URL Shortener works best for you.
But still if you want my opinion then i would recommend Adfly as most of times its rates remain higher than LinkShrink.
Payment Schedule:
Everybody likes getting paid quickly and if this is your preference too then both of these networks are made for you. Both Adfly and LinkShrink has fast payment frequency, they like paying their publishers quickly. Actually both of these networks know the importance of loyal publishers and therefore, they try to give them better services than other networks.On Adfly, first payment is made on monthly basis and after that all payments are made on daily basis. So, only for the first payment you will have to wait and after that you get all super fast payments.
In case of LinkShrink, it also pays quickly to publishers. However, it doesn't have any first payment limitation like Adfly which is a good thing. LinkShrink pays its publishers within 4 days of payment request. However, usually all payments are made within 48 hours. So, far i have received all payments within 48 hours, in most cases even within 24 hours. I never have to wait for 4 days to get my payment. This not only tells how quickly this network pays but it also tells that this network is running perfectly.
You always face payment delays when a network faces troubles in the market. But, these two networks are one of the most stable networks so you are not required to worry about anything. As both networks have always paid me on time and every time so i want to give 5 out of 5 marks to both of these networks.
Tools:
If we compare the tools of both URL shorteners then Adfly offers more tools as compared to LinkShrink. On Adfly there are almost 10 tools that you can use to maximize your revenue whereas on LinkShrink you get only 5 tools that you get almost on all URL shortener networks.So, in terms of tools Adfly is way ahead of LinkShrink and therefore, it wins by a huge margin.
Payment Methods:
Being premium URL shorteners both Adf.ly and LinkShrink try to offer sufficient payment options to publishers. This is the thing that i really like about both of these networks. They both offer quality support to publishers. I have always been satisfied with the kind of response i received from these network. And, best of all both of these networks reply very quickly.
